We are currently recruiting for a newly established Activist hedge fund. Development and growth of the business has generated a requirement for an exceptional individual to join their Investor Relations team in London. This person will play a key role in the fund’s investor relations and fund raising activities.

The fund’s strategy is to make strategic investments in listed companies and to catalyse (if necessary by force) a control transaction or other takeout / restructuring. The strategy incorporates dimensions of "old style" corporate raiding and hedge fund activism.

Reporting to the COO, the appointee will play a key role in its investor relations and fund raising activities. This individual will be involved in all aspects of investor relations and communications, including fund raising, conducting relevant research, meeting and building relationships with investors, marketing to existing and potential investors, managing relevant databases and producing a wide range of marketing materials.

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing and intelligent individual, with solid experience gained within a sales and marketing position or investor relations role within the hedge fund space.

In order to apply you should have experience in one of the aforementioned backgrounds, complemented by strong communication skills and a personality that facilitates relationship building with investors.
