Connecticut financial firm seeks ideal candidate to be responsible for developing and supporting front office applications.

Our client, an industry leader in direct access brokerage services, is seeking a top-notch graphical user interface (GUI) senior software engineer to help make our Java based Trader Workstation platform even better. If you are proficient in developing user layer components, have solid Java experience, love the challenge of developing complex real time systems, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a strong established team, then our client  may be just the place for you. This job is heavily oriented toward designing, building and optimizing front end applications.    

Minimum requirements    

          • Fluency in Core Java         

          • Experience with Java GUI toolkits (Swing, AWT or similar)      

          • 4+ years of software development experience with emphasis on Java       

          • BS in Computer Science, or equivalent (advanced degrees a plus)      

          • Strong communication skills    

Compensation $125,000-$200,000

Must be based and eligible to work in the U.S.
