Partnership track opportunity with specialist dealer for CPA + FINOP with fixed income experience and interest in risk management

Our client, a specialist securities dealer, is seeking candidates for a key management position with responsibility for finance, operations and risk management. This mid-sized firm was established 20 years ago and is a leader in its field. The position reports to the managing partners and could eventually lead to an offer of partnership in the firm.

The position requires an ability to manage the staff responsible for finance and operations and continue the design, implementation and administration of a comprehensive Risk Management framework with emphasis in fixed income products and market risk.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• CPA
• FINOP designation
• Strong knowledge of accounting, finance and budgeting
• Degree in finance, math, economics, accounting and/or engineering
• Solid understanding of fixed income products
• Knowledge of operational risk management including VAR
• Experience with risk management tools such as Bloomberg, Yield Book, Lehman Point, CMS BondEdge, RiskMetris or Barra
• Management experience
• Strong communications skills with the ability to represent the company to outside auditors, attorneys and clients
