Our client is a fast growing financial technology and algorithmic trading analytics firm providing software and services to premier global financial institutions. They are known for the excellence of our offering and innovation.

Experience:

• Senior Software Developer with expert knowledge of C++ , knowledge of C# helpful
• Extensive experience in working with distributed high throughput applications
• Knowledge of network protocols would be beneficial
• Recent experience developing for the Windows environment
• Minimum of 5-7 years experience working in financial field as a software developer, preferably with trading systems.
• Good general knowledge of financial markets.

Required Skills:

This position requires candidates with exceptional technical and communication skills and provides ample opportunity for growth. Candidates with prior experience in developing trading systems will be at an advantage. All successful candidates will be required to acquire in-depth understanding of the equities, option and futures markets quickly. Prior experience with multi-threaded environments with at least some experience in application architecture and design is required. Candidates should possess an engineering degree from a top university.

Responsibilities:

• Core developer on trading systems and algorithmic execution tools product development team
• Work closely with senior management and clients
