A banker with substantial experience within the European syndicated loans market is required to fulfill a new role with a leading banking industry trade association.

Our client is a leading trade association within the banking industry, with particularly focus on the European syndicated loans market.  It is responsible for a range of activities, including lobbying of regulatory bodies, development and implementation of market procedures and guidelines, and networking with interested parties throughout the market. The Association also has responsibilty for producing industry standard documentation, for speaking at conferences and for education and training.

The position is within a small, dedicated team, including other experienced bankers and marketing expertise. The requirement is for an individual who is looking for a move away from a transactional environment, where you can leverage your extensive knowledge and contact base within the loan markets.

You should have the credibility to liaise with regulatory authorities within the UK and across Europe, developing relationships and raising the profile of the sector and the Association.
