As part of the global finance team, the Manager of Accounting and Finance will be responsible for supporting the Asian Equities business in all aspects of financial accounting, treasury, management reporting and all related areas.

Key aspects of this role will include the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, and regulatory reporting. Managing all aspects of the treasury functions will be an additional function, specifically the establishment and monitoring of financial controls in line with SOX guidelines, coordination with auditors and general financial management such as general ledger, payroll and benefits.

As a critical member of the senior management team, qualifying candidates will need to demonstrate the following:

• in-depth knowledge of Equities broker dealer accounting in Hong Kong and generally accepted accounting practices.
• CPA and preferably MBA qualifications coupled with 6yrs+ in audit, finance, accountant or related experience in the Financial Services industry.
• up to date knowledge of Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission’s Financial Resource Reporting and other regulatory reporting.
