Position:   Mid-level Java Developer

Company Description: Capital markets software vendor.

Requirements: 3-4 years experience with Object-Oriented Design and Development (Core Java). Proficient with open source frameworks such as Struts, Tiles, Axis and Hibernate. Extremely proficient with standard JAVA development tools including ANT, Maven, Cruise Control, log4J, JUnit, etc. Swing/SWT GUI development experience. Message-oriented middleware (JMS/Tibco) development experience. Knowledge and experience with SQL and relational database concepts. DBA experience a plus.    3+ years experience developing n-tier Internet applications with Java/J2EE (EJB, JSP, Servlet). Experience with JBoss or similar J2EE application server(s). Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML and XSLT. 2 - 3 years financial industry experience.             Understanding of basic concepts of Futures, Options, Equities, and FX. Prior FIX messaging protocol a plus. Strong understanding of Linux/Unix/Solaris Environments.             BS in Computer Science or related field. 

Duties:   Specify, design, develop, and implement front-end and back-end applications related to the financial services and capital markets industries. Analyze customer and internal project requirements to implement new products and enhance existing solutions. Lead a Development team in multiple phases of projects, including requirements gathering, software design, development and testing.
