My client, a leading hedgefund is looking for experienced algorithmic Quant Traders/PM’s for Both New York and London.

The highly successful hedgefund has done particularly well in the recent market volatility and are looking to expand the Algorithmic FX Trading desk.

They trade in all asset classes electronically and have a highly skilled team of quant researchers, strategists and developers who support the PMs. My client is looking for mid-senior traders who have developed their own strategies and have a solid track record (Strong PnL & Sharpe). You will be reporting directly to the head of trading and play a part in the aggressive expansion of the FX quantitative trading team. 

Successful candidates will report to the head of trading, be offered a competitive basic salary, percentage of PnL and have the opportunity to build their own team

To apply you must have the following traits:

  • High understanding of algorithmic/systematic trading
  • Strong Quantitative background with an MSc or PhD in a Mathematical/Quant related field
  • Good knowledge of programming
  • Creative research generation and the ability to develop through to exectution
  • Team player who can add that something different to the team
