College Degree
Tax certifications Prior experience with financial services industry Strong computer skills, especially MS Office, excel, tax calculation software Consistent attention to detail and accuracy

Main Duties
Gather compensation from overseas locations and report in US W-2 throughout the US tax year Coordinate with payrolls to report taxable assignment income and instruct necessary payments
Respond to queries about payroll delivery, tax and tax equalization from assignees and transferees Coordinate with compensation teams and payroll departments globally to report bonus payments, vested stock and option exercises in compliance with applicable tax laws and corporate tax equalization/reporting policies.
Compile annual compensation summaries for all transfers (including permanent local moves as required) into and out of the US (W-2), P11D in UK, and meet tax compliance requirements throughout rest of world.
Work with payrolls to assist with gross-up calculations and UK PAYE calculations.
Assist with questions from within IAS team and discuss tax implicaitons for potential assignees and business travellers as issues arise and team collaborates on solutions Review corporate housing stays for taxability and report in relevant jurisdictions as necessary
Review corporate travel reports for taxability of flights and days which will action US/ foreign tax liabilities. Request, extend, track and maintain Certificates of coverage, E101 etc for exemptions from social security for US & UK IBIM expatriate population. Prepare and manage annual tax preparation authorization list.
Serve as liaison with accounting firms and global assignees to facilitate tax return preparation and answer queries. Coordinate with accounting firms to chase non-responders and delinquent filers.
Review/ update and maintain compliance of TEQ policy documents Review, approve, and instruct payments or chase receivables for Tax equalization / reconciliation settlements. Maintain records of all TECs and tax payments. Work with finance to establish expatriate cost reporting process for allowances, relocation, and tax costs.
Run cost projections including tax calculations and estimates for expatriate cost reporting.
Run regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports and assist in responding to queries from HR, business areas and finance as required.
