Position Description:
The position is responsible for all physical and cash settlement delivery operations for agricultural, financial, currency, energy, metal, equity, and OTC products. It requires extensive relations with firms, customers, financial institutions, regulatory agencies as well as the USDA to ensure the accurate and timely dissemination of relevant information. The analyst’s primary focus is to mitigate operational and financial risk associated with the delivery of exchange traded and off-exchange traded products. The position is required to identify and develop business processes to further straight through processing, and implement these efficiencies within the group and across business units. The position is required to assist in re-engineering new systems, participate and lead UAT testing for new releases and software.
Qualifications:
The requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Business/Financial degree required
Excellent customer service, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, detail orientated.
Familiarity with settlement processes for Energy, Metal and OTC products a plus.
Must be able to work in a face paced, deadline-driven environment; background in deliveries and/or operations a plus.
Candidate must possess demonstrated quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills and the ability to work flexibly in a team environment
Understand accounting principles of debits and credits, GL’s, and reconciling bank accounts. Noting, explaining and following out of balance conditions to their resolution.
Expertise in Microsoft Office, systems development, project management, and the ability to work with a variety of complex systems are required
A successful candidate must also possess strong oral and written communication skills
