We are looking for a "top notch" CRO with 15+ years experience for our client, a top tier multi-strategy fund here in NYC.

Prestigious $10bn+ multi-strategy hedge fund, stable with good performance, is seeking a Chief Risk Officer with a strong market risk background to lead the department. The fund's strategies are mainly event driven, specializing in credit situations, but investing long/short across the capital structure, also derivatives.

As a key member of the management team, the CRO will work closely with portfolio managers and traders to quantify risk exposures in order to maximize risk/return profile. This position will take the lead role in creating policies and procedures to analyze/monitor risks, as well as to design and develop risk management architecture and methodology. Must be able to think strategically, provide insight into valuation of complex securities, and lead the implementation of cutting edge systems to meet the firm's analytical and reporting needs. Must have impeccable "C" level presence and be comfortable communicating with major institutional investors.
