Our client is a leader in its industry with strong global presence. They have a well known brand name and continue to position itself for growth even in this current economic climate. The internal audit function is a key function within the organization. Due to continuing business needs, they are now looking for a Director of Internal Audit to be part of this growing organization.

Leading a team of internal audit professionals, you will be responsible for evaluating the efficiencies and effectiveness of operational and financial controls in the Group, as well as identifying areas for improvement. You will be involved in financial and operational audit to ensure that the organization complies with corporate governance and best practices. You will also be involved in assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management. As this is a key leadership function, the successful candidate needs to possess good leadership skills and also strong commercial acumen.

Ideally you are degree qualified CPA with at least 12 year’s post graduation experience. You will lead a team in regional audits, and will be expected to travel around 50% of the time. You are a self starter, highly motivated and work well under pressure. You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and have good people management skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential for the role.
