This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the best performing mid-market buy-out houses in a senior position. You’ll be keen to use your private equity investment experience and help grow some of the most promising businesses in the UK. Our client targets lower-mid market buy-out opportunities and typically invests between £5-40m in exceptional management teams with proven track records.

You will join the team as an Assistant Director / Director to work on buy-out transactions and portfolio company acquisitions. Due to a flat hierarchy you’ll have a large degree of autonomy. You will focus on leading negotiations and/or project management as principal, or managing a variety of other external advisers, to deliver acquisitions, re-financings and exits via IPO, trade sale or secondary buy-outs.

You will have:

• Extensive PE experience – you’ll need to have completed a minimum of eight transactions
• Superb analytical, financial and modelling skills
• Strong communication, networking and inter-personal skills
• Excellent academics – a professional qualification would be a distinct advantage
