Leading private equity fund is looking to add an Associate from either a major investment bank or strategy consulting firm

The firm

Major private equity fund,  established for many years and having raised and invested numerous funds.  Focus on the firm is mid level buyouts, in significant and highly successful companies where there is real potential to increase profits and market share

The role

The position is investment associate, working on the origination and execution of deals.  The role will entail financial modelling, valuations, negotiation, structuring of deals and finance, and the execution of transactions as principal.  You will wok as part of a very high calibre team

The person

- investment banker with one of the major banks

- strategy consultant wth Oliver Wyman or similar  

- excellent M&A experience

- strong knowledge of financial services industry and excellent FIG advisory experience

- exceptional academics
