Manager - Consumer Credit Risk Analytics & Process

Our client, a world leader in management consulting, risk advisory and professional services, seeks an experienced and accomplished Credit Risk Management professional to join its prestigious Risk Management Advisory Team to focus on engagements in Consumer Credit Risk Analytics. The Manager for Consumer Credit Risk Analytics will lead teams that focus on helping clients pioneer sophisticated methods of portfolio risk management, establishing improved credit risk frameworks, scoring and credit risk best practices, process and methodologies and introducing cutting edge credit risk management technology to their enterprise. Managers are responsible for running large, complex risk management / credit risk consulting projects, aggressively pursuing new business opportunities, contributing to the profitable operation of the practice and managing, mentoring and developing junior and middle level risk management / credit risk staff.

Requirements:  Credit risk / credit portfolio management experience in Financial Services or Management Consulting with significant exposure to Consumer Credit, Capital Markets Products / Credit Products, sophisticated methods of credit portfolio / credit risk management, economic capital / Basel II, the credit risk life cycle at a major financial institution, risk and credit ratings frameworks, regulatory drivers of credit risk management, credit and risk reporting, complex global risk and credit risk projects, a strong track record of building and leading risk management / credit risk project teams and a strong desire to apply one's professional experience with a Leading Risk Management Organization. MBA / PhD preferred. Formal credit training and / or risk management professional designations (ie: FRM-Financial Risk Manager) are a plus.
