Hedge Fund - Asian alternative investment manager founded in 2002 managing over $4B (AUM) is seeking a distressed/NPL investment/execution professional to join their Japan office launch to conduct due diligence and provide investment recommendations for Japan focused investments.

Distressed Asset Investment Professional

• Relevant direct experience in distressed asset investment; NPLs, Di/Stressed bonds,   REITs,  Bankruptcy Sponsorship, Bridge Loans, Special Situations, PIPES

• Proven record in identifying revenue-generating investment ideas

• Ability to take a transaction from initiation to completion.

• Ability to monitor investments and manage a profitable exit.

• Fluency in both English and Japanese required.

Buy-side experience essential ; Special Situations – Principal Credit Strategies – Prop Trader

CFA/CMA, MBA, CPA favorable
