Bloomberg is looking for a qualified Fixed Income professional to join our growing market specialist group in New York.

The Role
Bloomberg is looking for a qualified Fixed Income professional to join our growing market specialist group in New York. Applicants should possess a deep body of knowledge and experience in the Core Fixed Income Markets. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, comfortable in a demanding and client-driven environment.

Responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-level analytical expertise to clients, our sales force, and product developers.
- Directly impacting sales by on-site meetings with clients and prospects where you can present unique Bloomberg solutions
- Influencing the direction of our product by providing feedback to Bloomberg's business managers on user demand, market practices and product enhancements
- Furthering the knowledge of our sales force through intensive internal training and seminars
- Educate clients by presenting at local and regional seminars, professional market events
and industry conferences.
- Discussing Corporate, Treasury, Agency and Money-market instruments with buy and sell-side clients

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Fixed Income Markets
-Substantial experience in the Corporate, Treasury or Agency bond Markets
-Basic understanding of the fixed income derivative markets (both Rates & Credit) is necessary
-Experience in sales is desirable
-Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
-Exemplary presentation, training and communication skills
-Willing to travel extensively
