A leading retail financial services organisation is seeking Managers to focus on Customer Journey Re-engineering, leading business process design specifically related to the customer journey across personal financial products. Managers will play a key role in one of the largest transformation projects of its kind.

The role

Our client is a leading retail financial services organisation currently engaging in a major customer centric transformation programme across the UK.  They are seeking Managers, to establish the current end to end customer journey across all personal finance product lines, and design the customer journey experience of the future.  Key to the role is ensuring that the customer journey is improved and the cost to service of that customer journey is reduced through waste reduction and value destroying activities; whilst keeping value enhancing activities.

The desired candidate:

  • Senior Consultant or Junior Manager level experience in a consultancy or client environment with a strong focus on retail financial services or related customer industries
  • Extensive Business Process Re-engineering experience:  Strategy and Design of primary importance:   (process decomposition, operating model analysis and design). Knowledge of Lean Management/ Six Sigma principles and financial analysis and modelling desirable.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, influence and engage across the core business areas
  • Self starter who is comfortable in turning high level principles into defined actions and setting future direction
  • Strong programme/project management experience
  • Appreciation of IT architecture
  • Experience of managing Analysts or client teams desirable.
  • Strong academic background
