The role

The successful candidate will join one of the sector teams working  with both them and across the wider business.  

Typical duties will involve

• News monitoring
• Press analysis and summaries
• Research for current clients and new business opportunities
• Assistance in the preparation of messaging materials – key messages, presentations, press releases, Q&A
• Implementation of financial communication strategies
• Interaction with clients, press and investment analysts
• Submitting press releases to RNS, in partnership with the team assistant

Necessary attributes

• A genuine passion for media and financial markets
• Outstanding accademics
• No relevant experience required though a background in PR, Press or Banking would be advantageous
• Enthusiastic team player
• Able to build strong relationships and to command the confidence of others both internally and externally
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Hard working, flexible and adaptable
