A Global financial services company is looking to hire a senior business analyst for their Singapore office. Applicants must have investment banking equities processing, settlement, back office systems experience.

The candidate will be required to:

1. Lead and co-ordinate the gathering of requirements from Business Users.
2. Document and obtain sign-off for requirements from Business users.
3. Propose Functional solutions, prepare specification documentation and obtain sign-off from Business Users and Technical Teams.
4. Work with Technical Teams in preparation of Technical documentation.

Background required: (Candidates must have the following)

- Minimum 5 Years Investment Banking, Equities processing experience. Especially in a multi-market, multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
- Minimum 5 years working as a Business Analyst.
- Excellent knowledge of Securities Operations Processing Flow (Cash Equities and F&O). Knowledge of Treasury, Risk Reporting and Reference Data also required.
- Knowledge of Global markets, in particular Asian markets trade execution and settlement. - Strong inter-personal and negotiation skills.
- Information Technology background.
- Proven track record in must-not-fail projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communications skills both written and oral.

Background Preferred: (Candidates with the following skills will be preferred)
- Excellent in working within a Team environment.
- Exposure to multiple Settlement, Treasury, Accounting, Middleware, Workflow and Reconciliation technologies.
- Exposure to SWIFT, Omgeo and other Trade Related 3rd Party systems.

Education:
- Graduate Degree qualified in a Business or Technology discipline.

Role:
- Business Analysis within a multi disciplined team and business environment.
- Work closely with users across all areas of the business.
- Produce detailed functional specifications.
- Work with Business Users, Technical Teams and Vendors to determine appropriate solutions.
- Interact with business users and lead discussion.
- Some travel maybe required.

General:
- Excellent English language skills.
- Proactive, solution oriented individual with proven results in situations of minimal supervision.
- Ability to work on own initiative and within team.
