One of the world's leading Investment Banks is searching for strong FIX Integration and Support Engineers for their front office Algorithmic Trading business.
Experience Requirements:

  • At least 2 to 5 years experience with FIX client on-boarding and vendor certification.
  • Candidate should have extensive experience with providing level 1 support to production FIX client orders. Ability to debug FIX message content errors and apply corrective actions that may involve configuration and or message replays.
  • Solid understanding of FIX protocol including message constructs and how FIX tags are applied.
  • MUST HAVE SOLID UNIX, PERL or Shell Scripting at the expert level.
  • Experience with Equities based electronic trading systems including client configuration tools, certification testing using trading applications, troubleshooting using message debuggers and FIX support tools.
  • General understanding of global program trading, algorithmic products, dark liquidity pools and direct market access (DMA).
  • General understanding of connectivity infrastructure, including TCP/IP, firewalls, dedicated circuits and network connectivity providers.
  • Extensive experience troubleshooting of electronic FIX orders, including order rejects, routing issues and FIX
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written. This is a client facing role.
  • Ability to deliver results while working under pressure.

Pluses:

  • Series #7 license preferred
  • Knowledge of booking, clearing, settlement and other back office/middle office, compliance and regulatory functions.
  • Algorithmic Trading Systems experience.
  • Systems integration experience.
