Management of Equity Settlements Team in Singapore during UK hours. To ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades. The correct procedures are followed, and benchmarks are met.

The Operations department manages high-volume diverse and complex settlement processes around the world. Their primary activities include:

  1. Settling transactions across the full range of the firms products. Advising clients, internal and external, of the state of their transaction.
  2. Setting up new operations and business in support of the firms strategy.
  3. Ongoing automation of routine processing and control activities to reduce cost and improve service quality.
  4. Maintaining rigorous controls over the settlement process.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring key risk indicators (failed trades, stock / cash reconciliations, FOBO breaks) are kept under control. Staff training and development. System and procedural development. Carrying out staff appraisals and regular team meetings/reviews.

Managing a team, covering the below roles:

  • Cover ‘short’ positions
  • Fails management
  • Cash and stock reconciliation’s
  • Pre-matching Client and security static requests
  • Monitor and clear system exception queues
  • Manual instructions Funding
  • Cross border movements
  • System UAT
  • Maintain up to date procedures

You will have proven management skills and be well versed in Securities Operations in a leading investment bank. This role covers US and European markets and therefore you must be willing to work a night shift.
