Full lifecycle software development experience in C++ on the Windows platform is essential for this challenging new role.  Any knowledge of Java development would be nice to have. 

You will ideally have strong database skills with knowledge of coding in SQL in this server side development role.  Any business awareness of Derivatives, IT governance/risk management from a software development perspective would be an advantage.   Having just upgraded all systems, the team is now about to begin work on major business critical development projects that will have a direct effect on P&L. 

Liaising with front office traders and quants, strong communication skills are essential.  Whilst any experience in banking or financial services, (including hedge funds, financial software houses etc) would be a significant advantage, it is not essential. 

A strong education from a leading university in a scientific or mathematical discipline is expected.
