My client a leading Asset Management company based in the City of London is looking to recruit a motivated Business Analyst with excellent communication and strong technical skills to work within the Fixed Income IT team. YOU MUST HAVE FIXED INCOME SKILLS to be considered for this role.

The role will consist of project management, dependency management, status reporting and coordinating testing and preparing project documentation. The ideal candidate must be able to handle a number of simultaneous projects, be able to prioritize, demonstrate ownership and drive projects to completion. This is a migration project into the aladdin system. Hence knowledge of aladdin is a definite plus but not a pre- requisite. You must have worked within a large programme of work and is able to manage the sub projects that will fit into the programme.

In order to be successful for this role you will need to have solid Project management experience with strong fixed income product knowledge (bonds, interest rates, swaps) within either asset management, investment management and investment banking sector. You will be closely with the development team hence you must be familiar in dealing with software development teams. Knowledge of SQL and XML is an added advantage. Knowledge of waterfall or agile will be a bonus. Knowledge of aladdin will be highly advantageous. Experience of portfolio management and trading is ideal.
