JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role will have heavy daily borrower and client contact and will be liason with all functional groups within the company. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
This is both a qualitative and quantitative role suitable for an entrepreneurial minded professional with a minimum of five to seven years of relevant securities lending industry experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Seeking a university graduate with a BA/BS in Economics, Business Management, Finance, or related field; with a minimum of five years of industry experience. Prior management of a securities lending trading desk is highly desirable. A positive can do attitude, and a proactive approach to problem solving are prerequisites. Knowledge of the securities lending industry, computer systems, financial operations, and advanced spreadsheet skills are expected. Candidates must be detail orientated; have excellent oral and written communication skills; be capable of managing multiple projects and possess excellent problem solving skills. Advanced degree (MBA or CFA) considered a plus.
