For an international utility with assets spread all across Europe and a focus on renewable energies I am looking for a Short Term Energy Trader based in Germany

Task:
- Optimise the short-term market value of the UK Asset Portfolio
- Develop and execute trading strategies
- Establish regulatory- and auxiliary agreements with National Grid and Elexon
- Develop internal systems for scheduling and communication with counterparties in the UK market as well as internal departments
- Help with the further development of the business by establishing models and procedures that help in extracting the market value of the asset portfolio


Your profile:
- University degree in business and/ or engineering
- Relevant experience from the short-term market for electricity/gas would be an advantage
- Strong analytical skills
- Team player mentality with good communicative skills and fluency in the English language
- German language skills are NOT mandatory
