Our expanding Risk & Controls Solutions team partners with clients to improve their risk profile by identifying, quantifying and managing risks associated with their business, across a range of risk disciplines including credit, market and operational risk; information security and projects, governance & compliance, data analytics and forensic services. 

The Compliance Manager will play an important role in PwC's Risk practice achieving its ambitious growth objectives in the Financial Services sector. Specifically, this role will be responsible for growing relationships within the financial services sector in Melbourne by demonstrating your deep capability in Financial Services regulatory risk and compliance. You will also lead the delivery of Regulatory risk & compliance consulting engagements to our Financial Services clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance specialist to provide advisory services to clients on compliance and regulatory frameworks, including:

  • Advising on a range of regulatory matters relevant to financial services participants (for eg. ASX listing Rules, ASFL obligations, new national consumer credit legislation)
  • Designing and implementing more effective Risk, Governance and Compliance frameworks
  • Actively contribute to internal knowledge sharing workshops and external thought leadership forums
  • End-to-end management of client engagements, from development of proposals and budgets, through to delivery of Risk Transformation initiatives

Skills & Personal Attributes required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Law or related qualification
  • Consulting experience is desired but not essential
  • Ability to communicate with impact and influence to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to present solutions in a clear and articulate manner, tailoring style to suit the needs of the client
  • A team focused style with strong organisational and project management skills
  • Confident, proactive and adaptable
  • The desire to build on your commercial, change management, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
