The preferred candidate will have a background and / or familiarity with M&A modelling , financial analysis , external credit rating experience , pitch book preparation and front office exposure. The candidate will have a willingness to work closely with the major corporate team and product partners and show a good appreciation of financial instruments.
Accountability's:
- Skilled acquisition financial analysis including M&A modelling and scenario analysis.
- Ability to mentor analysts, associates and junior bankers in transferring these skills.
- Assessing acquisition finance capacity based on in-depth analysis of financials and experience of public rating agencies and bank credit methodologies
- Undertake shadow ratings analysis
- Advise on optimal capital and debt structure
- Liasing closely with sector specialists and product partners (debt capital markets, equity capital markets and financial markets) to develop optimum financing solutions based on the customers requirements.
Essential Skills
- Skilled financial analysis including M&A modelling and scenario analysis
- Advisory skills i.e.
- Capital / debt structure
- Credit Ratings
- Good appreciation of banking products
- MS-Office: Strong capability of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
