Our client is a leading global private equity fund, and a major investor in oil and gas, commodities, energy, infrastructure and utilities companies.    Based out of the US and London, they have increasingly favoured looking at investments in Africa, Asia, and Russia.   

They are now looking to add an Investment Analyst to join their team, who will work on the origination, execution and portfolio management of investments for the fund both in Europe, and increasingly in the emerging markets region.

You can expect to work on the origination of investments for the fund, meeting with potential investee companies as well as working on the execution of transactions as principal.  

We are interested in meeting with people who will have a background as follows:

- investment bankers who are likely to be at the 2nd year Analyst - 1st year associate level

- with energy/ commodities/ oil and gas experience

- excellent financial modelling skills

- currently working with one of the major investment banks

- with an excellent deal sheet   

- applications encouraged from people with Russian, Chinese, African, Eastern European language skills
