Corporate Actions rolls up into the wider Asset Servicing division, which is in itself part of the Operations dept.
The role is likely to involve a high degree of liaison with these areas, however effectively runs alongside being a dedicated full time resource to our PS MO Reps, regional CSR population and clients.
Prime Services Middle Office Asia require an experienced client facing Asset Servicing Specialist who is capable and comfortable in interacting directly with tier 1 clients, sophisticated event driven and Asset Servicing sensitive clients in addition to acting as the client's go-to for all Asset Servicing events (minus instructing on conversions).
It is likely the role would incorporate a Middle Office Rep role where the successful candidate would take responsibility for a no.of clients, acting as an operational contact for a variety of queries (inclusive of asset servicing, collateral, stock loan, swap, settlements, payments, etc…), being the clients operational point of contact.
The main duties of this function include but are not limited to:
- Interpreting complex Global voluntary corporate actions.
- Presenting details of corporate action events to stakeholders in an accurate, condensed, timely, and
professional manner.
- Build strong effective relations with global AS depts, driving change or perspective where
appropriate.
- Interface with other departments to glean information, disseminate, acting accordingly.
- Communicate effectively, responding to verbal and non-verbal inquiries.
- Design, document and participate in training fellow MO Reps to build corporate action knowledge.
- Initiating, documenting and maintaining procedures.
- Understand wider MO Rep responsibilities, effectively manage those ‘account coverage'
relationships for which you have responsibility (likely 1-5 clients).
