Majid Al Futtaim Asset Management (MAFAM) Limited is a DFSA-licenced Asset Management company, part of the Majid Al Futtaim Group of companies, based in Dubai. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced fixed income portfolio manager.

Reporting to the Managing Director of International Investments and supervising a small team of investment analysts, the Associate Director will be responsible for independently managing all Fixed Income portfolios, sourcing and analysis of investments and investment/divestment decisions. Instruments include single bonds, bond funds and derivatives (options, swaps, CDS).

The successful candidate for this position will possess a high level of understanding of, and previous portfolio management experience in, the fixed income sector, including derivatives (options, swaps and CDS) and strong credit research skills. In addition, significant experience with financial risk and opportunity is essential. We are seeking a highly analytical individual, who is capable of exercising sound judgement decisions and who has the capability and capacity to deliver on set goals with the highest level of quality, whilst maintaining the company’s high professional reputation in the market. In addition, the incumbent will need to adhere strictly to the DIFC code of conduct, be familiar and comply with Company and Regulatory policy and procedures and codes of conduct applicable to the position.

Postgraduate qualifications from a reputable international university are essential. A professional certification (eg. CFA) will be highly regarded.  In addition, a minimum of 6-8 years' of investment or finance experience obtained in a reputable asset management operation is required for success in the role.
