Infrastructure / Framework Engineer Overview
An exciting and challenging position with exposure to a broad spectrum of technology.
The focus of this role will be to implement an infrastructure management framework solution. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a next generation, tightly integrated infrastructure management system.
The role will sit within the Infrastructure group which is responsible for managing and engineering the company’s infrastructure based on Windows/UNIX operating systems, networks, firewalls, servers and storage as well as applications which are predominantly JVM based.
The candidate will have very strong programming and development experience. The system must be easily extensible, test driven and needs to achieve very high efficiency of infrastructure deployment, delegation and operational tasks. The system must integrate with (or replace) existing directory services, monitoring services and infrastructure management systems.
