Position Description:
Fixed Income Compliance Officer to head Interest Rate and Currency Products Group. This individual will be responsible for management and oversight of the Interest Rate and Currency Products Compliance function. This includes working proactively with the relevant business units to maintain, enhance, and continue to develop a robust compliance framework and program to remain in step with changing market conditions in the following areas within Institutional Sales and Trading Interest Rate and Currency Products Group: U.S. Government and Agency Securities, Interest Rate Derivatives, Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets.

Qualified candidates must have extensive product knowledge and be familiar with the evolving regulatory and industry initiatives relating to Interest Rate and Currency securities and derivatives.

Requires good management and communication skills, extensive time on the trading floor and interaction with sales and trading personnel




Skills Required:
Areas of focus include:

Regulatory guidance, oversight and training.
Drafting, implementation and updating of policies and procedures, including regulatory updates and establishment and implementation of procedures to comply with new and changing regulations.
Development of oversight and surveillance and supervisory tools.
Compliance training.
New product initiatives.
Assessment and oversight of the supervisory framework.
Management.
