An opportunity has arisen for an analytical thinker who will be a core member of the Equity Delta-One trading desk. Applicants will work alongside trading both evolving business strategy as well as executing on opportunities. There will be interaction with several groups including other trading areas, strats building desk based tools/modelers, IDEAS practice areas as well as operations, FCG and legal & compliance. The role will involve helping to define the balance between tactical and strategic solutions, building proto-types and defining larger infrastructure/platform initiatives

Background: The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator with a background in partnering with traders and dealing across disciplines to deliver business solutions. They will have exposure to derivatives and equity trading and have excellent leadership skills.

The successful candidate must have/be:
- Strong communication (written and verbal).
- Highly intelligent with strong academics and educated to degree level (or equivalent) as a minimum.
- Extensive and significant experience within Investment banking / Financial services in a similar role.
- Experience of partnering with senior management across various disciplines.
- Strong project management skills and strategic thinker.
- Exposure to derivatives and equity trading.
- Working knowledge of risk and trading systems as well as operational flows and controls is also required.
