Global Investment management firm based in Bermuda is seeking an intermediate level Trading Risk Analyst to work closely with senior members of the team in primarily risk management and a special projects capacity..

Major responsibilities include:

  • Provide continuous risk management and compliance support via interaction with Trading, IT, Legal, and the Operations groups.
  • Assist to review and enhance the Trading Risk Limit and Validation checks.
  • Conduct trading control and risk management review and assessment. 
  • Define risk management project requirements and work with IT to develop the applications. 
  • Continue to improve and automate the existing trading procedures, reports, and various analyses. 

Requirements:

  • Strong statistical and financial modelling skills. 
  • At least 1 -2 years in Risk management (eg Credit Risk, Operation Risk, Legal risk etc)
  • Strong computer skills with experience with SQL and knowledge of basic programming
