Our client is a major investment bank.  A global firm, they offer clients a broad range of services in the investment banking, wholesale markets, fixed income and equity capital markets space.  The business is highly successful and 2009 has proved to be a significant year in terms of increase turnover, market share and dealflow.

They are now looking to add two individuals to their team to work on the following:

- formulation of corporate strategies for the shaping and development of the business

- assisting MDs of the divisions with specific strategic projects, and commercial initiatives

- competitor and market analysis 

- evaluation of new product and market development

We are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:

- strategy consultants with consulting firms such as McKinsey, Oliver Wyman and Bain.  The Associate will have between 3- 5 years experience and the VP 6 years ++

- strategy managers with other banks and financial services companies

- Business Managers with other banks, with clear strategy experience which will be evidenced in the cv

- Potentially, investment bankers who are keen on making a move into a strategic role

- financial services experience is essential
