Our client is a major financial services plc, and a major banking group.  They are now looking to add a Strategy Manager to one of their retail financial services groups, to work at a senior level on the shaping and development of this significant division.

The role will focus on the following;

- blue sky strategic planning for the overall direction of the business

- working on commercial and business development projects, to maximize profitability and market share

- competitor analysis and benchmarking

- customer insight and strategy work

They are looking for a professional who will have a background as follows:

- strategy manager from another retail financial services group

- strategy consultant from a firm such as McKinsey, Oliver Wyman, LEK with retail financial services experience.  Probably, you will be at the Manager/ Engagement manager level
