This long/ short hedge fund is one of the most successful names in European asset management. They have continued to deliver substantial returns to investors in the last few years, and are now looking to add an investment analyst to their team.

The role will involve the following: 

- analysis of markets, companies and sectors for investment purposes

- identification of potential investments

- valuation and financial modelling of equity investments

- portfolio management of the investments once they have been made

we are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:

- sell or buy side equity analysts from major banks or funds

- strategy consultants from firms such as McKinsey 

- chartered accountants from leading accounting firms

- investment bankers looking to make a move into an asset manager

- outstanding valuation and modelling skills which will be tested at 1st interview 

- Oxford/ Cambridge calibre academics
