The ideal candidate will have a degree (MSc or PhD level) in Engineering, Geology, Mining or any other subject relevant to the Metals & Mining or Natural Resources sector. It’s also likely that you will have worked for roughly 2-4 years in industry (Metals & Mining or Natural Resources) so can bring to the table extensive relevant knowledge of how the industry actually works. You will be well versed in all terminology relevant to the Metals & Mining and Natural Resources space and must have a strong commercial awareness of the opportunities open to banks at this time. A background in Finance is a preference but this is not essential.  Without a finance background you will have to demonstrate a numerate mindset.

It is essential that you are a team player whilst keen and highly motivated to take a significant personal step in your career. This firm offers the platform and support in senior management to enable you full global exposure and the potential to go a very long way. Many of the senior team are number one rated City Analysts. The role is very much global in focus and across a very wide range of diversified materials/metals.
