The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in the UK’s leading Corporate Bank for businesses with turnover in excess of £25 million and will be responsible for originating, developing and winning new profitable Corporate business in line with national and local strategies and enhancing the local market profile of RBS Group. We are looking for a proactive and hungry individual with the ability to gain new business, develop relationships whilst providing inspiration and guidance to the team.
Responsible for originating, developing and winning new profitable Corporate business in line with national and local strategies; enhancing the local market profile of RBS Group as the market leader for intelligent and innovative financial solutions (assets, liabilities and Group partners). To generate new income to RBSG, working with Group partners within the “Corporate Banking Group” (CBG) framework
Requirements
• Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and networking skills in a sales environment.
• In-depth knowledge of the full range of Corporate (£25 million +) products and funding solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of credit processes and policy.
• Appreciation of macro-economic and financial outlook with strong understanding of Corporate sector activity.
• Experience of analysing complex financial information and identifying/structuring appropriate solutions.
• Team player with proven people management skills and coaching skills.
• Conversant with the major strategic models used by Corporate entities to evaluate their operating environment and plan their future development.
• Achieved or is working towards appropriate professional qualifications.
• Previous experience within Corporate Banking or Corporate Professional Firm
