Our client is a leading financial services group, operating internationally.  They offer clients a wide range of services including investment banking, retail, consumer, asset management and wholesale and are now looking to add a Head of Strategy to one of their key divisions.
 

This excellent opportunity has arisen to lead the Strategy team in what is a critical time.  The successful candidate will be accountable for the development and delivery of breakthrough strategies to drive the divison forward.

The main accountabilities for this role are;

- To develop and deliver strategy, working with functional areas within the group to make the strategy come to life

- to work on strategic change initiatives, and develop commercial and practical programmes to ensure the implementation of strategies throughout the division 

We are looking for a candidate who has a good strategic thinking capability and the ability to develop a plan that delivers the aspirations for the business.  You wil also understand  how to manage a P & L understand the key drivers that make a successful business deliver its financial commitments.

You are likely to be one of the folowing:

- Strategy Manager/ Head of Strategy with a division of another financial services group 

- Perhaps an Engagement Manager with one of the top consulting firms
