• PAYROLL OPERATIONS MANAGER (VP Level)

Due to changes within the organisational structure our client is now looking for a Payroll Operations Manager to drive the strategic direction of the Asia Pacific payroll operations to the next level.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following;

•  Payroll Vendor Management across APAC

•  Full payroll function of the Regional & Local Payroll management

•  Responsible for Payroll Vendor Management across APAC

•  Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with payroll vendors

•  Organise regular meetings to review performance and operational issues

•  Key person to review and streamline the payroll processes and identify areas for potential improvement to be in line with best business practices

•  Give functional guidance to team members in terms of general payroll practices & standards to value add to payroll services in line with the outsourcing objective

•  Prepare Payroll performance metrics for management reporting

•  Responsible for the reconciliation of payroll balance sheet accounts

•  Participated in ad-hoc Global Payroll Projects as assigned

•  Shared best practices to other regions

The successful incumbent will be educated to degree level and will have at least seven to eight years of payroll operations outsourcing experience and extensive knowledge of Asian payroll legislation is required. Strong organization skills are also necessary as is a proactive ‘can do’ mindset.
