This AA Credit rated bank has performed very strongly in the past 18 months. Its strong performance has been under pinned by careful planning and a cautious approach to Lending. The bank is now in a position of strength and is looking to capitalize by increasing market share.

Part of this strategic growth is to attract top talent to its workforce and the bank now has an opportunity for a part qualified management accountant to join the planning and forecasting team. This particular business unit offers analysis to the business unit heads and assists with budgeting forecasting. The role of analyst will see the successful applicant complete a range of duties including:

• Monthly forecasts
• Annual strategic plan
• Balance sheet forecasting
• Financial modeling

It is envisaged that the successful applicant will have at least 2 years experience in a management or financial accounting role and be near completion of a CA or CPA qualification. High attention to detail and strong excel skills will be viewed as critical criteria. A background in financial services is highly desired although not essential. In return the successful applicant can expect to benefit from a generous base salary including superannuation and a bonus package. The role should have great appeal to those candidates wishing to advance their careers.
