We are seeking individuals with audit experience in a Big 4 or leading national firm. You may be an Auditor with a career specialisation in banking and capital markets, Manager/Senior Manager within the Group Accounting Policy area, or finance partner/controller providing decision support to the institutional bank within a major bank.

You will have a deep understanding of the banking industry gained from specialising in banking and capital markets throughout their career and also possess the following:

• Deep understanding of the banking business model and the respective roles of each of the business units within a typical bank
• Conversant with KPIs used to measure performance in the industry
• Experience of auditing in a banking environment, and associated understanding of key risks and controls
• Deep knowledge of accounting for financial instruments, structured finance transactions, and debt and equity transactions
• Working knowledge of the products and structures transacted in the institutional bank
• Working knowledge of regulatory capital considerations
• Working knowledge of the valuation approach to vanilla financial instruments and conceptual knowledge of the valuation considerations in valuing complex financial instruments
• Working knowledge of the global capital markets and the process to raise funds in the different markets
