Our client a reputable Insurance firm requires an Operational Risk Manager to determine, implement and embed a risk management practice across the business.

On a daily basis the individual will be designing, implementing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework, which includes risk and event management, integrating changes to market practice and regulatory/statutory developments including solvency 2 requirements. Other responsibilities will include reviewing and updating risk profiles and control self assessments with senior business management and approved persons.

The individual is expected to represent the interests of risk management on various Governance committees, and provide input on the annual risk audit plan. Implementation and regular testing of the Incident Management structure and facilitating the maintenance of the Corporate Governance Policy set will also be factored into the role.
