One of the top global private equity firms is looking to add an Investment Analyst to their team

This major gloabl private equity firm is a significant mid market investor.  They have been established for over 25 years and are regarded as one of the most successful investment funds in their class.  They invest globally and focus on taking controlling interests in companies with a value of c$50m- $500m.  The firm operates from a number of international offices but acts as 'one firm'.

They are now looking to add an Investment Analyst who will join their European office.  The role will focus on: 

- identfying targets for the fund to invest and approach

- relationship building with the management team of the investee companies

- working on the valuations and due diligence process for the acquisition process

- financial modeling for the deal

- analysing debt structures and financing options

- execution of the transaction as principal

- assisting with the execution process and assisting with documentation

We are interested in people who will have a background as follows:

- 2nd or 3rd year analysts with major investment  banks

- currently working in the mergers and acquisitons, leveraged finance or acqusition finance teams  

- with excellent financial modelling skills
