Commodities trading house requires an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in risk management systems.

You will take the lead in designing and implementing enhancements to their bespoke multi product trading and risk management system covering a full range of Energy and Physical Commodities.

You will be responsible for capturing the project requirements from different business areas, providing analysis and then producing clear, concise functional specifications.

You will be the link between the Business Users and Technology, and be expected to build strong working relationships and develop a good understanding of the relevant business processes.

To be considered candidates will need to demonstrate a proven background in Business Analysis with heavy emphasis on risk management systems, specifically within with Commodities and Energy Trading industry.

You will have a strong knowledge of Market Risk including risk positioning, VaR, Option Theory, Forward Curves and P&L.

You will understand the requirements of daily reporting in a trading environment and have experience with physical trading.

A technical background is preferred although not essential, candidates with experience of working on implementations / enhancements of ETRM systems including OpenLink Endur, Zai*net, Trayport, Triple Point etc would be highly desired.

You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable providing leadership to teams and facing off to senior business sponsors.
