This leading Distressed Debt fund looks to add a junior member to the London team, with over €4billion of committed capital they are seeking a candidate who has a strong understanding of the capital structure of Corporates and have had extensive experience determining the value of the debt in companies.

The responsibilities for the role will be for investment screening whether this be to take controlling or non-controlling positions in the debt. Making recommendations as to which sector is ripe at what time and valuing the various tranches of the debt are key to this role. The ideal candidate is likely to come from a team in an Investment Bank where these responsibilities are day to day but with the appetite for risk to change to a principal investor. Those with a short amount of experience at a similar institution are also welcome to apply should they wish to work for a strategy where control is an end result rather than purely taking positions in the debt.

The fund services Europe from this office and therefore any additional European languages would be useful but are by no means a pre-requisite if you have the right experience and appetite for this strategy.
