You will be responsible in gathering business requirements and translating it to system requirements with an integrated or end-to-end view specifically for Front Office systems. The main challenge of this role is to understand not only how the systems work but also how it will support the business requirement. This role is expected to work with the Sales Trading, Program Trading Development Groups and the different business groups.

Responsibilities

• Work with users to gain an understanding and an appreciation of current business flows. Fully evaluate desired improvements to this process. Discuss impact of changes with all affected development groups.
• Proactively suggest improvements to the process and be willing to discuss these with the Development Groups in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore.
• Document the requirements 
• Define Test Approach for the system changes to be implemented and carry out the testing process (i.e., preparation and execution of test scripts).
• Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Tests.
• Arrange / chair meetings to discuss and clarify requirements.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate both technical and business issues clearly, succinctly and in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to balance technical and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technical and business experts.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Development Groups and business users / sponsors.
• Ability to prioritise and perform work and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
• Experience in the full software development life cycle.
  
• A minimum of 5 years experience in the financial industry working on Equity related Systems including Cash & Derivative Products
• A sound knowledge on the various business processes and flows in Equities business.
• Ability to confidently and clearly communicate with technology and business colleagues.
