Our client is a leading Tier 1 Investment Bank, who are experiencing continued growth across their Australian Equity Derivatives business. Due to an internal restructure an outstanding Senior Product Control opportunity has been created to support their Australian flow equity derivatives book.

Your key responsibilities will include:

You are a qualified CA/CPA with previous experience gained in a Product Control environment. Ideally you will have experience (or at the minimum a theoretical knowledge) of accounting for vanilla Equity Derivative products, including Equity Options, Swaps, Index Arbitrage and Warrants.

• Review and approval of new product approvals proposed by the Derivatives business
• Production, review and reporting of daily P&L
• Provide P&L attribution, P&L explain and commentary
• Month end close including P&L, Balance Sheet validation & Capital charges
• Liasing with trading teams to ensure the appropriate hedging of open fx exposures
• Strong project focus with emphasis on driving initiatives to improve processes and systems
